I haven't really done anything out of the ordinary these days.. I haven't got the time. Everything went chaotic just before the start of Ramadhan and it hasn't really got sorted out just quite yet.

I'm hoping by the end of this month I have some time to spare and go back to how things were.. We'll just have to wait and see..

So there I was, lost in the jungle in India, with the left side looking exactly like the right... and the back... and the front, when suddenly a dim lit opening appeared a few hundred meters ahead. I walked slowly towards it. Scenes from the 'Witchblair Project' flashed in my head.

'Come on in...' a faint voice cried. Do you even dare...?

Hand held, one shot only and no tripod. It could have been a lot clearer and detailed if I had my tripod with me but it got stuck in something's head when I threw it at 'it' when it was chasing me..

One of the differences between Bruneian and Singaporean weddings is the 'Silat Performance' to the wedding couple who are deemed as royalty for the day and is usually done when they arrive at the groom's house. Such a performance is meant to be graceful and has to be done with great respect and etiquette.

I was never good at doing wedding photos.. Too much stress, too little time, you can't really control your surroundings, and you can't expect them to pose they way you wanted them too.

I did this as a personal favour to my wife's uncle who did so much for me when I got married 5 years ago (can't believe it's been that long). Of course, this is not the uncle but his son. Hehe.. I'm not saying you're stupid, I'm just stating the obvious.

I salute to all those who is doing wedding photos. It's not as easy as it looks. Out of 500 over photos that I took, only a handful is appealing to me. I think I did more damage by accepting his offer to do the photos then declining...

Now you know partly why I've been missing the last few weeks.

Forget about the settings, I did what I don't like doing on photos, and that is cropping. I lost a lot of pixels doing this... a LOT!! I regretted not bring my zoom lens with me that day.
