I've used Picasa to adjust the colour saturation and adjust the sharpness. I was on my elbows and knees taking these photos as I want to be on the same eye level as the grasshopper.

I'd soon be on my knees to if I want to take great photos like these. One thing that caught my eyes when Kantalensa sent me this is that his lens was 28 - 300mm. Thats a zoom lens, right? So you don't have to be close to the subject right? I thought Kantalensa was using a standard lens.

hehe a photographer would do just ANYTHING to get good shots. I've climbed steep rocky hills, dipped myself into a drain, some even jumped into a swimming pool in his suit.

300mm is a zoom lens, a vital when u want to take close up shots of a subject without scaring them away :)
