Title : Wild Flora ( Wild = living or growing in the natural environment; Flora = flower or plant )
Period : 17th - 30th December 2007
No of post : Maximum 5 each participant.

This particular challenge is intended to make you all more active during this rainy season and get wet if possible. I know how we can be frustrated when looking up at the grey cloud and lose the initiative to grab our cameras and start shooting. Hence lets do the opposite. This challenge, challenge you to go out and look for any interesting subjects to post i.e. time for outing guys.

This flower has been officially named Brunei's national flower during the APEC 2000. Since then, this wild flower has been used widely throughout. One question still linger, what happened to Bunga Ayer Muleh? Has anyone seen the true form of this so called flower? And just wondering, due to lack of knowledge of flowers and i don't do botany, does Bunga simpur came in purple?, i thought it was usually yellow. Hmm..

Easily found where there is 'lalang' largely grows i.e. unattended open field. Usually happen when there no grass cutters can be seen around after a while.

Found this group of flowers next to where oXp parked his car during our outing at Tasek Lama. My o my! How we human are so busy with our lifestyle that we forget that all this wild thingy God has created surrounding us are actually amazing and beautiful. It is another reason that encouraged me to introduce you (the nature and photograph lover) to join in the challenge. Why there has been no respond? Have we been so big headed and proud to be God's best creation that we look at this stuff with one eye? Come on you guys, send your stuff in. Share your thought and together we appreciate them.

Consider it done. Well there you go guys, that was maybe one of the reasons for DF's disapperance [excuses exmuses].. Therefore i did advise him to get a spanky new notebook with wifi capable, so that he can do his posting at the workplace. It is not a misuse of work place's wifi , it is actually making the full use of work place's wifi!! Sayang jua kalau inda di gunakan, free kali ah.

This fern grows as big as 2.5 ft long and 1 ft in width. Sorry guys, I know nothing much about it, except that it grows wild on the perimeter of the forest.

I ain't got a clue what this green-thick-leafy-like flora is called, but during my kiddy days, i used to play with it. This flora do make a snap sound when the it snapped into half, and that was fun, the thicker the much louder it will sounds. But...the elderly says [nya orang tua], those things are actually for the purpose of the 'spirits' [orang halus] to climb up the trees, and these flora can be found mostly on pokok jati, and who usually sits on the branch?

This was suppose to be my biggest challenge yet. You know why? Well if haven't heard already, I hate flowers.

However, due to complications, (like rain, and where in Singapore can you find flowers? Its a city for heaven's sake!! And even if there is such a place, I have no car!! And now I'm away where its winter and all the wild flowers are dead.. Hehe!!) I am only able to produce this. I'm sorry guys..

My Favourite
Ever since I moved to a new house and without any internet connection for about two months, there was no one came up for a new challenge. So now, on behalf of Out of Focus who is currently away in China with no internet connection ( believe me it gets lonely and boring when you do not able to login nowadays ), I would like to introduce our next challenge...

Title: ISO [i, saw] my favourite
Challenge Duration: 2 weeks from November, 29th (Thursday) until December,12th (Wednesday).

This challenge as usual is open to everyone. Yes, you can join with maximum 5 posts per photog. Just link us to you as per previous challenge.

And the guy DJ, hmm.... lets just say they do entertain me with their own style and there is one DJ who talks so fast that i can barely understand what he's saying...no hard feelings mate, *YUSSSS*.
