This flower has been officially named Brunei's national flower during the APEC 2000. Since then, this wild flower has been used widely throughout. One question still linger, what happened to Bunga Ayer Muleh? Has anyone seen the true form of this so called flower? And just wondering, due to lack of knowledge of flowers and i don't do botany, does Bunga simpur came in purple?, i thought it was usually yellow. Hmm..
