I got a zoom lens which I bought second hand at a cheap price but when I tried it I wasn't satisfied with it. I found out that when I blew up the photo, it gets grainy even when using ISO 200.
Is this normal? Is it because it was a cheap lens? Would a more expensive lens make a difference?

what lens u bought dude? if u use it max zoom u will need steady hands, or a tripod or monopod. Dont worry you'll get used to it soon
Its 70-300mm. But what I wanted to know is whether the photo is grainy or not.. I tried some zoom shots. It wasn't as clear as I wanted it to be and I want to know if its normal or not..
