*this post was edited so that it remains on top til the end of the month*
Its a little over 4 weeks since I first got my hands on my camera and I haven't been to put it down since then. It's always with me everywhere I go and very keen to learning new techniques to taking photos, which is why I started this blog in the first place, to post the photos I took and ask expert opinions on it, to learn the hows and the ins and outs of the camera.
I am happy that some are willing to help out a fellow photographer, but a bit sad on the lack of contribution. I don't really blame anyone. I myself spend quite a bit of time trying to make my photos look good and a few minute more posting them, who's got time to email them? Hehe.. So now I am trying a different approach.
It's a challenge. Nakalai asked a while ago how to determine if you are the best and I think this will be it. I'm hoping that readers will help pick out the best out of the theme challenge and so will determine 'the best'. This was all my wife's idea by the way. She said 'lelaki pantang di cabar apatah lagi lelaki brunei' so I'm going to see if she is right.
The first challenge will be iso [i, saw] unity based on Brunei's N-Day. Send in your best photo of the celebration and let the viewers give their opinion.
I do apologies that neither I nor overXposed can join in on the challenge as neither of us will be in Brunei at that time. Maybe the next challenge.. if there is a next challenge.

I am sorry to disappoint you and her that moment people put "challenge" I will walk away with a smile :)
It put courage to accept someone's challenge but it require wisdom to reject challenge :)
Doh.. its not a matter of who's got the bigger or the wider lens..
This is just so we get to see the best of Brunei's national day pics in one spot.
How do you define "the best" :)
I'm not trying to intimidate anyone, what I'm actually trying to do is to get Brunei's photographers to be involve in something together. Just a little activity to get us going and motivated.
It actually doesn't matter who the best is. I know for a fact that everyone of you is better than me and for that reason it makes me.. err.. menguatkan semangat lagi nya org.. and not condemn you.
To me being the best is to be be somewhere up there with you guys..
Maybe challenge is the wrong word, competition would be better.
Thanks Bruneian for visiting my site, I apologies for not writing more clearly.
hahahaha
nah panjang pulang kana reply.
I was just replying to your wife's challenge.. Trying to tell you that NOT ALL man is you know "pantang di cabar"
I just wanted to prove that she is wrong by saying "apatah lagi lelaki Brunei"
hahah walaupun cucu cicit Awang Semaun.. gagah inda terbilang.. but when come to "challenge" people would die, condemn each other, kill each other just to "accept" challenge :) haha banar inda?
Bruneian - point taken. I'll probably put up another 'friendly challenge' or two sometime next week just to get people involve in something we all love.
We're still friends, right? It's just a little misunderstanding.. No fight fight ah.. :)
hahaha
Again, you misunderstand what I was trying to say. My comments was on the part of your wife statement..
"This was all my wife's idea by the way. She said 'lelaki pantang di cabar apatah lagi lelaki brunei' so I'm going to see if she is right."
I think David and you got the impression wrong. What I am trying to say is that NOT ALL lelaki Brunei "pantang di cabar" as stated by your wife :)
hahah no harm done.. and I do apologies if you and David got the wrong impression.
Good initiative that you have taken. Again, I was replying to your wife's statement :)
Alamak.. banyak susah ini.. I guess this is what happens when write or message instead of talking about it.
Oklah.. no more about this lah..
