It was the night before Eid. Would you believe I went out to Geylang at around 1.30 in the morning? Since I wasn't around much during the Ramadhan month, we weren't able to do much so there was alot of last minute things that we needed to do, and one of them is shopping at Geylang.
The place was still packed with people. It was like there was no tomorrow. You can see from the photo above.

A little girl was having her hand done with henna. There were people scattered around the place who can do designs if you want it on your hands.

...and of course, what house would be complete without new cushion covers right? Plenty of new designs this year. Very tempting!!

Let's not forget about carpets too. The good thing about shopping at the very last minute is that you get good discounts. The carpet we bought here was originally $168. We got it for $100. Yowza!!!
