To my surprise, today turned out to be sunny, though still freezing cold. I decided to explore Chicago since all the shops are close today for Christmas.
About half an hours walk from my hotel is the beach to Lake Michigan. This lake is huge!! It is the only one of the Great Lakes that wholly borders the United States, the others are shared with Canada.
