Photo by Out Of Focus | Title - Missing Mom

My wife started working today, after four months (yeah, that's right) of maternity leave, leaving me to care for my son alone. This wasn't the first time I've taken care of him by myself, although my last record was only for 2-3 hours.
So everyone got abit worried.. and uncertained that I could do this all by myself. Kinda makes you feel like no one has confidence in you. Sucks right?
My mom sent me a text message from Brunei every now and then to see how I (by 'I', I meant my son. He is her first grandson you know..) was doing, and so did my mom in law, here in Singapore, calling me from work..
No confidence, I tell you..
But I showed them. Ryan (that's my son's nick name, by the way) was fine being with me. He cried once and awhile, as babies do, but I think in his case he misses his mummy. We got on well as time passes by, and Ryan slowly began to realise that mom wasn't going to pick him up anytime soon.
This photo was taken during his quiet time. His stare was so deep that I began to wonder if he really did think about where his mom was..

I'm taking a short break from posting for a little while. Just until I figure out how to juggle my time between Ryan, house cleaning, rest, study, cooking, eating, praying, laundry, organizing my paperwork, organizing my photo album and sleep.
So far I've only managed one thing on the list.. and that's Ryan.
