| Description |

This was just before the test flight after a maintenance have been carried on the helicopter, we ( engineers and technicians) changed 2 of the 4 blades. The maintenance was actually finished a day before but since it's already late in the evening and no test flight should be carried out after sunset, plus.... flight test crews were not available that day, you know la... it's Saturday. So the test flight was forwarded the next day.

I always wanted to take photos while airborne, here is my chance. It was actually not easy as it looks, with glare and reflections on the cabin windows and the rotating blades which is always in the way of my shots. I will show you that later in my next post, maybe. The only way to get a clear shot while inside the aircraft is by strapping yourself in a monkey harness which is securely tied on the fittings in the cabin and but only approved personal with proper training are allowed to do that. The sliding door is opened so that the photographer can have a clear shots.
