iso [i, saw] a new guy

| Introducing PsyCho Lens |

Remember that crazy friend of ours that took overXposed and I to the abandoned house? Well he got excited with the photos we took and decided (after a long battle of choosing between overXposed's Canon camera and my Nikon) to get a camera himself.

He chose the Nikon D40x because of the good and comfortable grip he had when trying on ours and abit of persuasion from me. Little did he know that the reason I told him to get the Nikon was just a way for me to offload some of my old and not used so much lens. Hehe!!

Well he got some test shots but not sure of how to get them posted. Not a blogger.. yet but will be soon. So for now I'll be posting his shots.

Be a sport and give him some tips okay guys..

I love this shot. She's the daughter of Psycho Lens. It's a shame that he didn't get her full bodied, the lower part of the legs are missing. Also that table in the background is a distraction. Still abit blurred, I'm guessing he's still getting used to the camera.

I think i got the idea of what he was trying to achieve here, PsyCho Lens try to get the natural light through the glass door. It'll be much better if the curtain act as backdrop or change the angle shot so that the furniture at the back is covered. Regarding the missing legs, that's fine by me.

Psycho told me that this is his faithful companion, always with him everywhere he goes. I can see why that rubber ducky is deciding to take his life..

Photowise.. background is still pretty messy to me. I like his style and his ideas are great. I can tell that he'll soon be taking better photos than the rest of us.

Zoom a little bit tighter to create a shallow depth of field so that the messy background will be blurred.

I had to crop this photo just to make it slightly bigger with less distractions. That's quite a camera you have there dude. The colors are brilliant.

I love this shot, the colours are so brilliant. Being a Canonian, D40X does and has proven produce a really wonderful colours. I did a couple of test shots with PsyCho Lens' dSLR and was amazed of the colour quality. Note : Everything that i said about D40X is over exaggerated. Hehe....


So there you have it guys. A soft introduction of our yet to be photographer of the year. We'll be seeing more of him, whether you like or not.
