I seem to be going on hyperdrive. Ever since I bought my D300 a few months ago, most of my photos have been about vertoramas, then HDRs, then a combination of vertoramas and HDRs and now DRIs.

My next big thing which I hope I can do is a combination of all 3. I need to find something to shoot first.

I can't believe what this camera has done to me.. Time for a new camera, oXp. Hehe!!

Digital blending DRI of 5 RAW files in CS3. Not HDR or toned mapped. Shutter speed between 6 and 30 seconds.

boOnz - I was hoping someone would answer my question dulu (see my iso [i, saw] the winner's post) but since you ask, I'll answer.

I like to use the lowest ISO I have on my camera. Low ISO means less noise. The photo will be clearer and sharper. I will only change it if I shoot indoors when the lighting is bad and the shutter speed is too slow to take hand held photos without camera shake.

If you're really serious about going out on a shooting spree in Spore, email me your fone number and tell me wen u're coming. If I'm in spore at that time, i'll bring u around man.

Well the only time i use a high ISO is on low lighting. but usually it will show too much noise. When there is light..sometimes i put it up to 400 or maybe 500...just to see how it looks like. Of course i haf to push up the exposure speed. So far it looks good to me.

Here's another 'trick' I learned along the way. I've talk about the ISO, less ISO less noise now lets go to aperture.

Higher numbered aperture means smaller hole for the light to get in. That means u hv to use a slow shutter speed to get the right amount of light. When u use slow shutter, u can get more details and it will be more clearer. If you notice this photo, there's a blue glow in the sky. If I had it set up more than 30 secs, that blue glow will be more brighter. That means I have to use a higher numbered aperture so I can use slower shutter speed.

Paning? Hehe!! The reason why I didn't use a high aperture slow shutter is because aku lupa bawa my remote cord dah.. Camera can only set up to 30 sec max, then comes bulb which I don't want to have my finger on the camera for 5 minutes.. Heheh!!

Mind you that glow only works if you can see the sky glowing works your eyes. If its pitch black, u wont get anything.

Kalo aku salah, please lurus kan ah..

nah iatah yg kn ckpkan tu bro psal combination ur aperture, shutter&ur iso.. hehe i wonder sja, u pkai shutter 1/15(alum slow bnr) then ur iso was only 100, then ur aperture f/14.. the question is, napa ur photo inda underexposed atu? instead lawa cia plg...

Photocreator - Atu ertinya aku very skilled. Hehehe!! No bah..

Thank you photocreator for pointing out my error in writing the shutter speed as 1/15sec. Its actually 6 shots - 30 sec, 20 sec, 15 sec, 13 sec, 10 sec and 6 seconds.

Maklumlah.. aku cut and paste saja the settings, then lupa tukar. Hehe!!

boOnz - I took the brightest photo which is best for the buildings but too bright for the lights and then layer mask them on top of each other. That just means the bright lights will be less bright but enough to make the photo just right.

Nantilah ku explain lagi.. I'm still sick in bed. Try googling BRI or Dynamic Range Increase.. Sori bro.
