I got news that we might be moving hotels soon, out of Sharjah and into Dubai. I thought that I might not get another chance to shoot Sharjah so I bit the bullet and went out in the heat.

This is part of a mosque a little out of town. I took the taxi... well, more like the taxi took me here. I didn't really know where to go so I asked the taxi driver to take me somewhere nice.

The problem with this was that I was rushing to find an angle for the blue hour. I wanted to have the mosque in the foreground and the city in the background.

I couldn't find that angle so I opt for this instead.

2 parts of 3 photos each manually blended in CS3. I have trouble with the colors. Yellow lights shining on the already yellowish brick walled mosque makes it the more difficult to tweak.

I do like the blue sky. I love the blue hour...
